Twenty years of building.
Relentless building.

CloviTek didn’t appear in 2026 — it evolved. From a Ukrainian orphan arriving in the US in 2005, to a CES-honored WiFi-audio hardware company, to an AI-native studio running a fleet of branded platforms. Same builder. Same platform DNA. Roughly twenty years.

Founder & architect · Ukrainian orphan → CES Honoree → AI-studio builder

Twenty years of building documented on this page — from survey software before web surveys went mainstream, through award-winning hardware, to an AI platform engine that builds and runs branded products end to end. The same builder throughout. One instinct: when the tool you need doesn’t exist, build it.

Era by era

The through-line, decade over decade.

Every marker below is documented — award records, a real incorporated company, a published memoir, and shipping products. Follow the same instinct across four eras.

2005–2009

The American Dream & the first product

A Ukrainian orphan who aged out of the orphanage arrives in the US to build — and couldn’t stop. The first idea was survey software, years before web surveys went mainstream. By 2009 it was a real, shipped product.

2005

Arriving with almost nothing

A Ukrainian orphan who aged out of the orphanage arrives in the United States to chase the American Dream — no business experience, no safety net, and an instinct to build.

2009

The first shipped product

A complete mobile survey platform — a ‘mobile Qualtrics’ on Windows Mobile (.NET Compact Framework) with a server, SQL database, and web services for paperless real-time field data — built as a Utah Valley University computer-science capstone.

CloviFi — award-winning hardware

An idea from a gym becomes a product, the product wins on the world stage, and the world stage becomes an incorporated company — carrying the cloud, SaaS, data, and API thesis that would later define the studio.

2016–2017

The hard thing, made effortless

An idea from a gym becomes CloviFi: a transmitter that streams TV audio privately to your phone and headphones, aimed at the millions living with hearing loss.

2018

The platform thesis on paper

A business presentation lays out the CloviFi platform — cloud, subscription SaaS, data, API and SDK on top of the device. The same architecture thesis that the studio would later generalize.

2018

CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree

CloviFi is named a CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree in the High-Performance Home Audio & Video category — independent recognition on the industry’s biggest stage.

2018

Commercial Integrator BEST Award

CloviFi wins the Commercial Integrator 2018 BEST Award (Audio Distribution Systems) at InfoComm — a second, independent industry endorsement of a working, competitive product.

Pitched at KyivHub

A full founder pitch in Kyiv — origin story, the awards, the go-to-market plan and the team — putting the same-builder narrative on the record well before the AI era.

2019

Back at CES

CloviFi is showcased again at CES 2019 — a shipping product returning to the floor, not a one-off concept.

2019

A real, incorporated company

CloviTek Inc operates as a tax-filing company in Salt Lake City — a full B2C business plan, executive summary, financial and competitive analysis — and clovitek.com goes live. Not a side project.

2020–2022

A living, supported product — then a clean close

Not abandonware. The company kept filing taxes and maintaining the product, the founder published a memoir, and then the hardware chapter closed cleanly — bootstrapped, with no outside investors.

2021

A published author

The founder publishes ‘VITALY: The Misadventures of a Ukrainian Orphan’ — a memoir reviewed by Readers’ Favorite. The same-builder origin story on the record, in his own words.

2021

A living, supported product

Connection manuals, install guides, and device software kept current — the company filing taxes and maintaining the product, not letting it drift into abandonware.

2022

The hardware chapter closes

CloviTek Inc is formally dissolved after bootstrapping with no outside investors. The platform instinct — cloud, SaaS, data, API — carries forward without the hardware constraint.

2023–2026

The evolution — an AI-native studio

The same founder, the same platform DNA — SaaS, cloud, data, API/SDK — generalized and powered by modern AI. From one connected product to a fleet of branded platforms built and run end to end.

2023

The learning era

Assembling the owned software tool-stack and the craft — learning modern AI tooling deliberately before building the fleet that would build everything else.

2025

A course becomes a factory

Building a 32-lesson NIR spectroscopy course for SpectroScience — narration, slide images, video assembly, autopublishing — the founder realizes halfway through that he hadn’t built a course. He’d built a factory.

The turning point
2026

CloviTek — one engine, a whole fleet

The factory becomes a company: one AI engine plus a fleet of 135+ specialized agents that build and run branded platforms end to end — 19 live today out of 46 built. The 2018 “cloud + API + SDK + data” thesis, generalized and running. Pre-revenue, stated plainly.

Where we are now

The company evolved the same way its products evolve now — documented at every step.

On the record

The same builder, in his own words.

In 2021 the founder published VITALY: The Misadventures of a Ukrainian Orphan — the documented origin story behind the company: aging out of a Ukrainian orphanage, arriving in the United States in 2005, and building from nothing. Independently reviewed by Readers’ Favorite. The same-builder through-line put on the record, not merely asserted.

The DNA throughline

The same architecture pattern, twice — eight years apart.

The CloviFi era and the CloviTek studio are the same instincts, generalized. Element by element, the pattern repeats.

Same builder. New machine.

Twenty years of conceiving, shipping, incorporating and marketing real products led here — to a factory that builds them. Bring an idea; leave with a business.
